Georgia Sumner, 25, is jet-setting her way towards stardom in the modelling and acting industry. Originating from the English county of West Sussex, Sumner has kickstarted her career and there’s no stopping her.
Sumner was first discovered at the age of eleven at a Christina Aguilera concert, but shortly decided to put career decisions on hold due to her youth, saying “at that age you don’t really have a huge amount of self-awareness”. Choosing to enter the modelling industry 5 years later, Miss Sumner’s claim to fame began after she featured in an 8 page spread for ‘Urban Life Magazine’, and described it as a “really fun shoot”.
Since then, Sumner has proved to be more than deserving of her success, having collaborated with international brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Next Company and Rush Hair to name a few. The cover star has also featured in numerous publications such as Porter and Look Magazine.
One of her most recent works was with bridal giant, Victoria Harper Couture, stating it was a delight to “spend my days dressed like a princess” whilst working with such a “fun group of people.”
But, modelling hasn’t always been the love of her life, as the brunette bombshell is currently pursuing her lifetime goal of being on the big screen, stating “I have always wanted to act, it’s still what I want to do”. And so, to achieve her dream, Sumner has recently graduated from the prestigious T. Schreiber Studio for Film and Theatre in New York, describing it as “the best year of my life”. To date, Miss Sumner has featured in some of our favourite movies and TV shows such as the BBC series, ‘Material Girl’, and global box office hit, ‘Swinging with the Fenkels’, alongside co-star, Mandy Moore. However that’s not to say Georgia doesn’t share her love for both modelling and acting, as the glamorous girl-next-door personifies the belief that you needn’t limit yourself to only one career when you’re bursting with creative talents!
However, Sumner follows the ideology of work hard, play hard, and on the rare occasion of a day off, she loves “watching movies”, putting in extra hours at the gym and hanging with friends- one of whom is previous interviewee, Louisa Warwick!
Sumner is also a big lover of fashion, and is globally envied for her less-is-more style. Some of her staple items consist of “high-waisted jeans, body suits, black booties and a classic handbag”. Furthermore, you’ll be pleased to know that her taste doesn’t break the bank, stating she’s a big lover of highstreet names “Topshop and Urban Outfitters”, but likes to combine such items with pieces from high end labels like “Alice & Olivia and YSL” for good proportion.
Alongside this, the brunette bombshell enjoys switching up her skincare routine, saying “I experiment with products all the time”. But, to ensure she maintains her pristine, glowing complexion, Georgia is devoted to “Creme de la Mere or Kiehls'” moisturisers and eye creams. In addition to this, if she requires a little rejuvenation, the brunette beauty says the Peter Thomas Roth under-eye patches are her go-to.
Sumner is also known for her desirable physique, stating her daily workout is based around weight training as it keeps her “toned and lean”, and agrees that seeing results motivates her “to keep going”. Because of this, Sumner is a prime example that if you strive to achieve something, whether it’s work or personal-related, there needn’t be any reason to prevent your success.
To conclude, Miss Georgia Sumner has flawlessly demonstrated that self belief and and big dreams are the methods for success!
I’d also like to thank Georgia for taking the time to answer my questions!
